Building and Supporting A Community

Founded in 2011, Precious Project’s mission is to offer high quality education and care to orphaned and vulnerable children in rural Tanzania.

Our vision is to eradicate poverty and illiteracy in the Tanzanian village of Nshupu. We nurture, educate and empower its youth so they can become the future leaders and productive members of their nation. Our efforts meaningfully enhance gender equity, economic self-sufficiency and environmental sustainability. We partner with the local community to provide a primary school, children’s home, and an organic farm that models agricultural practices grounded in sustainable environmental principles. Precious Project also supports women’s empowerment groups that foster economic self sufficiency.
